Eligibility for the TBI Waiver

To qualify for the TBI Waiver, an individual typically must: be between 18 and 64 years of age, have a diagnosis of traumatic brain injury or related condition, be eligible for New York State Medicaid, and require a nursing home level of care but be able to live safely in the community with supports.
